We will host a talk event in conjunction with the exhibition “Shogo Okawa Exhibition C₂₁H₃₄O₂ = Blood of the Forest.”
Shogo Okawa—who creates works based on urushi (lacquer) craftsmanship while working as a product designer—integrates technology, art, and cultural-anthropological approaches into his practice. In this talk, we will hear from him about the philosophies and experiences that form the foundation of his creative process.
